Newbie - looking at s70 t5 to buy - issues

Hi all

Often look in at this fine site as Ive had various 480s / 960s.

Im currently looking at buying a 82K mile S70 T5. It has some issues which I want to run by you guys before I go any further.

Firstly, there's the common ABS light / module fault. I have read about this and I need to either get a replace module, or fix the one I have. Easy job ?? How cheap are the replacement modules ?

Secondly, car has the engine light on, which the owner is saying is down to the oxygen sensors being out of tolerance. What can I do to test this theory ??

What sorto f things should I look out for, that might cause the engine light to come on ??

Also, what should I look for on a 96' S70 t5 ? other areas / issues which are common knowlegde ?

hi and welcome.
1........abs fault.....have a chat with member wobbly dave.
2........engine light ..if its o2 sensor then it will probly want changing...
check wireing and connectors first but its a common fail on a lot of cars.

If it is that one got to be worth a punt at £650 with that mileage.

Engine light could just be a split elbow/hose.
