I've been using a mix of steel/ruber pipe for the last couple of years, since the first garrett went on, and to be honest it is a weak point which I keep saying I'll sort out the next time I have a problem, but this might be that time.

First run around the triangle the car went well with full boost, but towards the end an ominous ticking from the exhaust manifold, which has gradually got worse as the day went on redusing my boost back to 16psi, I'll have a look tonight.

Your problem isn't closing the bonnet (not even you're that forgetful) it's keeping it closed at high speed because you haven't secured it

I agree, but this way even if I don't secure it, it won't be able to fly open.

Well, as most now know, I will be shortly putting an engine in the back of my car, now I was planning to go the same route as the front engine i.e turbo (GT2871) and supercharger (Eaton m45), but lately I've been thinking of going silly, not for more power or anything, but just for the hell of it as space won't be an issue, so I think I'm going to fit 5 T15 turbos (as found on 1.7 Astra diesels, so plenty around for small money) any thoughts on problems I might face.

Other than fabricating the manifold and the resulting spaghetti involved in plumbing it all in, I don't see why not

I see the manifold as the easiest bit, 5 individual pipes, then 5 small pipes out of the turbos into an intercooler with one pipe out of it, I think the hardest bit will be going from the maf to 5 individual pipes, (but think of the reverse of a tubular exhaust manifold collector).

How are you thinking of driveing them one turbo to each outlet on the manifold don't think they ( the turbos )would like it don't think they would boost well.
Or some how link all five into the down pipe.
If you had two high pressure & low pressure that worked together like the new type 4 clyinder Mercedes sprinters might work, but I know they have problems getting them to work together.

Just thinking the engine rpms would be about twice what the diesels run at .

No.just the 5 smallest turbos I can find, if I can find some cheap 600cc, like a smart car, then that should be fine. and if need be I can still plumb in a supercharger

not after big power, 350bhp will be enough, I don't want to put rods in if I can help it.
