Which gearbox are you using? plenty of people are putting 400+bhp through M56s aren't they?

Didn't mean to be a vulture, but thought i'd mention it as i'm desperate for some parts at the moment

Well as its proven many times in the past, if you need help with anything then there are loads of willing helpers about just ask, don't do anything too hasty, 2 steps forward, 1 step back it's never straight forward in life..

I'm using the M59. M56 would be great but I can't stretch to a gripper.

Take the head off first and put standard fpr back on .what fpr was you using mate

Standard fpr isn't the right pressure, I was using an fse adjustable one.

Is it a black top one or a Fse boost valve

It's not a black top, so probably a boost valve? It was fine on the old engine.

The black top is a reference fpr and 1to1 ratio the Fse boost valve isn't mate.i had a black top fpr on my 940 and had no probs at all .i would get one of those mate or a 3.8 fpr

I have a nuke fpr that will run 1to1 ratio for over a thousand bhp if you want to try that one

So sorry for you Colin, was really looking forward to see what you could do with the car this year, I hope in a couple of days that you feel differently about this and can pick yourself up and push on with the project, we all know that your that close to success mate
