thinkin of sellin up!

Hi all, im thinkin of selling my t5, but im gonna replace it with a c70 i think, whatever i replace it with it will be a t5! i got the bug!!

Anyway, i was wondering what mine would be roughly worth?
Its a 1999 s70 t5 (t plate)in white, ex plod, so it has uprated brakes, me7 engine, 116,000 miles, fsh, electric windows, air-con, tracs, in general good all round condition, it has a list of mods, volvo strut brace, pi lowering springs, nomad dump valve,poly bush engine mount, custom cat back exhaust with 3.5" tailpipe, it has standard alloys with decent tyres. 6 months tax, 7 months mot, it had cambelt change at 104,000 miles, it has a stage 0 tune up about 6 months ago, and frequent oil changes
there are pics on my vb garage!!

i would be pretty happy with that for it! it has got low mileage for plod, i bought it with 104,000 on it!!

ive just spoke to a friend who deals in such things, he reckons 1500 tops, sounds low to me reckons white ex plods with "chav" exhausts and mods(his words not mine) are almost impossible to shift

i would rather keep it then than give it away!! i may as well spray it burberry while im at it, will that increase my value!? 1500 quid for a six year old car, No Chance! 2000 and i would be happier!

he can't sell a car with the spec you've got for more than £1500, time for a career change i would say

i agree, i think he is way out i d say close to 3k sounds about right, having said that is it the fact its a moded ex plod in white that may put traders right off perhaps? i would have thought the mods would increase value not decrease it , then again i know jack

I think PX would be around the £1500 mark (Maybe thats where Andi's mate was coming from with his low figure) Sell it private Don and get all you can out of it
