    2005 S80 D5 Anti skid service required

Hi all.Occasionally i get "Anti skid service required" on my 05 s80 d5.
Got the codes read.Comes up with "steering angle sensor",the mechanic said if it was a fault with a low repeat count it should be ignored.Where is this said sensor ?
Also i have read about Calibration of this sensor.Does anyone know anything about this.
The fault doesn't come on often enough to justify any money being spent on it.Just like to know what it is really
    Thanx in advance

Can't really help with the codes that are being thrown up on your car but I have just got my C70 T5 back from the garage after the brake service came on and stayed on.

Having read a few articles about it I was cacking my pants that it was a fault in the ABS control unit, which I was told was the thick end of £1300 just for the part.

Thankfully it was "only" a Yaw sensor at £622!!!!!!!!!

The mechanic did say that whilst the brake service light is on the ABS is disabled, so with the wife and grandkids on board I wasn't prepared to take a chance on my pedal pumping capabilities.

Whilst I am on about the ABS control unit, I was told that apparently Volvo have accepted that this is a manufacturers fault and have extended the warranty on it to four years.

    Regards to all.
