We should definatly have something for highest terminal speed, as that is something to show that you've got a lot of power.

    + quickest overall.

We'll need some more competitors, otherwise smithy and santa20 will get the rwd and awd by default!

I might have to slow the starts down a bit for the car to last another year lol

This assumes I will ever be on the road lol. Hopefully I will have a better season next year and maybe even get a run in where the car is actually fully working.

Not sure it matters which tracks are used as it's still a level playing field.

lol no worries mate, i thought it would be right up your street which is why i was waiting for your opinions/ideas

talking of 2nd April we'll have to sort out dates, the first meet of the year will be packed out but i do think we should some sort of system to it ie first meet of the month etc to ease on any confusion

I think the only criteria should be, a - must have a volvo (obviously) and b - no attitude.

Apart from that, the more people the better. You never know, it may help to get rid of some of the stupid arguments between forums that pop up sometimes.

I got a letter from york race way a coupple of months back stating that there doing there 1/4 mile run way up and also putting some special grippy stuff on and will even be able to run in the wet/damp as they have shell grip (what ever that is).
Also with york its not crowded and is a pretty good set up appart from the entrance lol but hopefully they will sort that out aswell

it shouldn't be simply "who's spent the most money" award otherwise your narrowing down on people who will want to race.

Another way of equalling things out is whats called "bracket racing", basically you estimate what time your going to run & the closest to it (without going faster) wins. So if you guess your going to run 14.5 & run a 14.6, & someone else says there going to do 13.2 but run 13.9 you win. We could do it were you write down what you think your best time is going to be at the start of each meet & then we see what you actually get

If we do that, then i'll have a pretty good chance of winning, what with having an auto!

I don't mind racing at york, in fact i think we have to go there at least once just so that people up north won't have so long to travel.

They need to sort out that bloody road that goes to it! You need an xc90 to drive down it, its that bumpy!

i think the rules should be kept as basic & short as possible, but cars should be road legal ie no slicks
