Charity Dyon Day @ HLM Thank you :)

Wow what an amazing day we have had and so many people turned up even if they were not running donations came in thick and fast. Hamish and I have decided to donate all of the dyno runs and food donations to the air ambulance as we had a good day on tuning so the grand total for the air ambulance was £500. This is totally brilliant and I will be writing a letter to the Air ambulance on Monday with a cheque. The local paper have also shown an interest so they are coming to interview us next week and taking copies of the photos that have been taken today.

Once again a really big thank you .

    Nat xx

Glad it was such a good day and that you raised so much money, hopefully you can do this again in the future.

Massive big thanks to hamish, nat and wobbles and anyone else who was involved in organising today, nice to see Hamish again, and an interesting chat with him. I think that you deserve a big round of applause for raising that much money for the air ambulance.

Sorry I had to run off but I had to sort out the robbery back in manchester, was good to meet you all and some nice motors there.....

Did anyone beat my 302 at the wheels figure ?

Superb day. Thanks to V70ETS for organising, Hamish, Nat & Mr wobbles for the hospitality.

Really pleased with how much we raised for the air ambulance.

There was a really good atmosphere around along with a sunny warm (ish) day.

Was nice to meet Ic, Leo, Liam, emelyn and anyone else I missed off.

Thanks to Dave and Nat for the lovely food.

Thank you Hamish and the guys at HLM for fixing my actuator and re-running on the dyno.

Drives amazingly on the road with nearly 400nm torques!

    Thanks to all!!

As I said in person to V70ETS, thanks for organising the event. Had a nice chat with everyone there and it was a very civilised event, nice and laid back, no issues at all.

Thank Wobbly and Nat for providing refreshments (dont normally get such nice touches at dyno days) I had fun, got my car on the rollers and 304'd. Car goes like poop off a scoop now with 384nm torque! Very impressed

Hopefully will do some engine tweaking for next year and run again, maybe could do something annually for charity(s)?

Best regards to Hamish, family, coworkers and everyone I met there.

Cheers to Hamish & Nat for putting on a great show - I have to also mention MrsWobbly & her expert cake making - which was widely appreciated. I am glad people enjoyed the food.

It is fantastic that we raised so much for a great charity. I just hope I never need their services.

Contributions from the food raised £93

I think I speak for everyone when I say it was a good day out for all.

Thanks to Dave and Nat for catering it really did hit the spot... not going into the chilli argument!

And thanks to Hamish and all the team for hosting the day for us, excellent turnout and really pleased with the money that was raised.

Cheque was sent off for £500 today to the Midland Air Ambulance. I made sure that this website was mentioned and I am hoping that they will send us some sort of certificate/letter of thanks. If so I will scan it and maybe we can have it put up here.

Wasn't part of it due to distance, but fantastic effort and congrats to all who organised, and all who attended. Great outcome for a very worthy cause.

Forgot to mention you - and getting together with HLM to organise it - top job. I hope that we may be able to do something similar next autumn!!

I spoke to Hamish and Nat and Im hoping to make it an anual event. That will of course allow people to measure their progress they have made throughout the year. Its also a really good chance for everyone to discuss problems and give advice from experience which I think is invaluable.

Well, now that you mention it i would like to know why my car only made 235bhp after the 304 was installed. When driving it home it was a completly diffferent animal and definatly was putting out alot more than 10 extra horses. Some people have said it takes time for an ECU to learn 98RON fuel and some have suggested I get the wastegate checked?

BHP is just a figure.....doesn't describe the delivery of power which may have changed substancially with the upgrade
