The 19T on its own is worthless and yes it can go bang - ask Spesh, who rodded his block.
Sort of asked this a bit wrong,My friend had a Lancia Delta Turbo,Which used a Garret T2/T25 ,Cant remeber which,Turbo Technics told me on the phone that a standard one would go after about 10psi,Thats why lancia Ran It At 6psi!,their uprated/hybrid after 15psi.
He ran the standard one at 16-18psi on a BBR chip for a HARD 20,000 miles before it blew,It was an unusual cozzy killer up to about 125mph,Bucket of rust though!
Whats the limit on the 16T vs 19T,Which will last longer at around the 300-340bhp mark,All things being equal?

19T running at 300 bhp will produce less stress on an engine than a 16T running at 300 bhp.
