Is it just me, but my M59 seems to have an incredibly long first and second gear?

That manual is slightly wrong Pedro, I think most of the info has been copied and pasted, its got my rear brakes as being 295mm and they're 283mm, and I'm sure the gear ratios are different, but they're all the same?

I did have a gear ratio list somewhere, I'll have to dig it out.

True, they do get things wrong. I've just reformatted my comp so all my stuff is archived, so its gonna take me a bit to trawl through it all.

Will just have to wait until I can do a side by side test on a T5 manual (which I could have done had I not sold it to NuttyT5!

So after a lot of discussion the best one we reckon is the m56h with a 4:45 final ratio is the on to go for

Cheers, just found that out, 10v 2L is where one was found with a 4:45 ratio, just waiting to find out if its external slave or not.

i still think going shorter is the wrong way, its not as if we're lacking torque to need to go lower & adding an extra gear change isn't exactly good for the 1/4mile time. Obviously if its going on track as well then its a bit of a different ball game
