Just found out I have an 850R Clutch!!!

May sound petty and slightly pathetic but talking to PaulZX (flying fridge mover) and he just told me the nearly new clutch me and dean fitted to the ovlov which came off the flying fridge mover is actually an 850R clutch not a standard one.

Silly but its actually made my day...

It was also broken for parts around 6 months ago, I actually wanted to buy it but didnt have the £800 wanted for it at the time.

I am actually drinking out of a can which used to be the flying fridge mover as we speak...

Thats the painful part. More still I have not seen to date another 850 run a sub 14 second quarter mile and the only one I have seen come close is deans running a pretty much dead 14 seconds.

BT on the other hand will be rather special, sod 13 seconds try 12 I reckon.

From santa20 definately... I would love to see Smithness and Rnash hit the 13's and I dont think james's car will be far off either.

As for yours smithy well, even though I am a FWD'er I really hope you give them all a real good run for their money.

what was Rnash's time, he must be sub 14 with the KKK?

i really haven't got a clue on what her times will be, she ran a 14.557 with a 15g & full weight/interior. I helped Paul with alot of the stuff on FFM so it was quite a similiar engine spec to BT. I've got a 300kg advantage & a few other tricks up my sleeve i didn't tell him about lol

atleast you won't be able to see how slow the time is from behind the smoke screen once the head gasket blows lol. Not trying to wish you any bad luck, but we all know what R*vers are like

If I remember correctly Rnash's best time is just over 14 seconds. He seems to suffer with some sort of problem most of the time he runs unfortunately.

Ok I shall be paying much attention to BT and you during my visit then... I would quite like to get mine as reliable and fast as possible without compromising any of the "comforts" you might say BT is now lacking

I think that Rnash got a 14.03 when i was at avon, i really do reckon he would have got a 13.9 if it wasn't so hot.

It has the later head gasket and was done not to long previously to buying the car so it should be fine lol

she's got a seat, what more comfort do you want lol. Your more than welcome to have a good nose over her, as i said before she's not looking as good as she has been because of the interior work i'm doing (plus the inlet manifold missing lol)

Yep i ran a 14.03,dont think you could get much closer to the 13's lmao.
I was only running 280bhp then aswell with the fuel problems, and i defo needed better rubber that day and defo cooler air.

Running 300bhp now and she pulls well, also got some other stuff to fit for the day to get better traction off the line,if i dont see the 13's then i think i will cry lol.
