    Found this... whats your thoughts?

Browsing on bay of e and found this exhaust system for the 850:

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/850-T5R-twin-e...item255d9a903a

I know there is very little information but what are people thoughts on a system like this? I am assuming there is no suitcase with one like this as the rear silencers do that.

Would anyone buy it for that money?

Would it bolt straight on at cat back?

they never did the 850 with a dual tailpipe like that, the first one to come with that style exhaust was the 265bhp limited edition V70R AWD

I wondered if it was a custom made exhaust.

I have a spare tail pipe and like the idea of twin outlets. Whats the easiest way to do it? I was thinking some sort of Y tail piece added in so a new series of pipework can simply branch off, just need someone who can weld well as I am pants!

Thats my only fear with buying an exhaust without hearing one first, I dont like them too loud just to have a nice "note" to them.

Powerflow made mine, they added a Y-piece after the exhaust comes thru the rear suspension beam. The drivers side then goes under the spare wheel well to get to the other side. I've only got 1 meduim/large silencer in place of the suitcase

I might have ago at doing the job myself as the budget is tight! I have seen a few standard exhausts for peanuts so could practice on one first I guess. The Y piece would be the only bit that needed welding I think as the rest could simply clamp in place.

How did powerflow support the drivers side pipework? Is there a place to bolt some more brackets on?

ah did you try & phone last night (3 missed calls around 6.45pm)? Be good to meet up with you, & an excuse to get the grinder out to cut the pipes up lol. BT's a bit untidy at the minute because i'm just prepping the interior for painting

No mate didnt try calling, I wish I could make calls but my phone packed in yesterday ironically.

Im glad you said you have a grinder as I only have a metal cutting jigsaw!

The silicone joints and jubilee clips arrived this morning so just waiting on the aluminium. I mailed the ebay seller and you were right they did a fantastic price! £55 for the lot against the £110 I totaled it all up to on just ebay prices!!!
