    Exclamation 2 issues help!? - idle and trim fitting

    hi,
    ive got a couple of probs at moment,
    i got the window trim fro the rear quarter of the 940 estate from breakers complete with clips but cant fit it for the life of me - seems impossible to align clips with protrusions from bodywork!! advice!? pic if needed
    secondly
    my idle insists of staying at 1500rpm after hard driving - high speeds. i blip the throttle it usually drops,
    ive had the idle control valve and injector system cleaned out to no avail. any ideas???

    Cant help with the trim issue mate, but the idle sounds very much like a vacume leak

    do u think i should take it to tuners or mechanic or ist it DIY?
    drivin me nuts makes me look like a boy racer at lights heheh
    excuse the ignorance is it a vacum leak in a vacum pipe or is there more than 1 pipe it could be

    just checked brickboard FAQ all signs pointing towards vacumm leak,
    unsure how to remedy let me know where to go etc

    No probs, auto diagnostics is your best bet, or a specialist, theres only a certain amount of vac hose
