    new stereo not remembering stations after straight swap

    hi i have just replaced standard stereo with a new sony unit and bought the correct leads for conversion was an easy swap trouble is the stereo works fine but i have to retune it every time i turn it on.is this normal

    although the ISO connections are meant to be a standardised wiring some manufactures do have the positive & ignition feeds the other way round

    Sony stereos have yellow and red wires that are interchangeable (on the piece of loom that came with the stereo) swap them over and it'll sort out your problem
