Sounds like a great idea! Thanks Richard! I could definately make Shakespeare on the 31st in that case as I believe HLM is 15 miles from you and Shakespeare only 50, big difference cuts 600 miles down to around 400 max not to mension the 3 1/2 hour drive each way!

If you do the 31st and thats viable count me in! Means if I save enough money for the remap on the 30th can get that done find the before and after map bhp and find before and after map 1/4 mile times... plus a few beers too

I ran a 15.19 at avon. But i'll keep saying it, it was very hot there and i think everyone who ran would have gone a tenth or two quicker. Possibly.

I agree with the heat that day and possible poor runs....though where you have heat you have more grip....and also heatsoak.....not sure how it balances out

Clutch will be fine......and if not then I get to replace it something better.....like a chocolate cake.

4500 - 5000 is fine anyway lol......once the car is back I will hopefully be able to get similar times with far less agressive launches

Grip is never a problem with my auto (in the dry), so having more grip would make no difference to me.

I'm up for going at the end of the month as well.

i also luv quater mile racing too i go there for the racing the times are second to me ,its all about the addreline rush when racing against someone and winning is a bonus .you know what im talking about jamest5r lol but take it from me jamest5r car will be a beast on the 3rd at avon and i will not have a cat in chance of beating his car on the strip.

my clutch is now repaired cost me the best part of a grand, but now i have a low mileage engine in the garden to tinker with mmm so might pop along myself

I believe it's 1-1 at the moment mate, we shall see lol, anyway ive got bigger fish to fry.....Rnash, Smithness etc
