    Instrument Cluster

    After abit of help regarding the dials. instrument cluster whatever you call it. Basically mine is bottom end version with only a clock in the centre at the bottom. I would like to fit the cluster with the miles to empty, MPG, temperature etc.

    Does anyone know if all the wiring is behind the dials so it would in effect be a straight swap with the exception of installing the switch? Thought I would find out if anyone knew before I tear it all apart.

    Also is it a dodle to remove the cluster? Looks like just a couple of screws but not played with it yet.

    Cheers

    i'm sure you just need the dash selector switch & the external air temp sensor (mounted behind the passenger fog light), & the new cluster obviously

    I know that in the past I swapped out the dash on an 850 for a higher spec one and all I did was swap the dash, add the switch and the temp sensor, as Duan says all the wiring should already be in place.

    p fandango, Tomcat thanks for the advice. Like I said just wanted to check before destroying it all.

    All I need now is the switch, new clocks and a temperature sensor!

    i have all those parts in question, but i cant release them to you at the moment as i still need the dials for a bit longer.
    let me know if you stuggles with the parts and i'll see what i can do.

    I'm stripping my 850 to race prep it,so most of the dash switches etc will be available.

    let me know

    jt
