    Hi

    No ISOfix came out later.

850's can be nightmarish for child seats. Often you find rear facing seat can't be used because the seat belts are too short to go around the front of the seats.

It is possible to have the spools lengthened to accommodate. Much easier in saloon than in estate where you have to take seat apart.

    See this thread http://www.vpcuk.org/forums/showthread.php?t=17665

    Cheers

If you want a removable baby seat then go to Mothercare and get a Graco seat base (fits using the seatbelt) and an Autobaby car seat.

    http://www.mothercare.com/Graco-car-...=UTF8&mcb=core

    http://www.mothercare.com/Auto-Baby-...encoding=UTF8&

No problems at all and easy to remove though I did place a rolled up towel at the back of the base to lift it up a bit.

The biggest problem we had was choosing a child seat for the Volvo, being a family orientated car I would've thought this would be straight forward but no - Volvo seat belts are stupidly short.

I can recommend this seat as it served us well after a lot of searching.
Not a '97 V70 T-5 CD Auto, Black, Black leather anymore..
replaced a Mercedes S202 C220 Cdi diseasal Now scrapped!! (best place for it, it was crap!)
