VPCUK Dyno Day HLM 30th October

Right folks got justin to close the last thread as the location has now been chosen.

I spent an hour chatting to Hamish on the phone at HLM and he would be very happy to do a dyno day and offer most of his services including maps, tuning and minor servicing. The dyno runs will be at a cost of £30 per car of which £15 will be donated to the Air Ambulance Charity and the remaining to just cover his costs for the day. He is also happy to run with however many cars can attend and is not fussed by minimum numbers.

As I have taken the task of organising the event I have chosen to go ahead with HLM as the venue as I like the idea of having a good day out whilst also donating to charity.

September is fully booked but October is free after Wobblies Wedding as Hamish will be attending. So if your all Happy it will be the end of October on a Saturday the dyno day will be either the 23rd or 30th.

Hamish can also run later AWD cars 03 onwards S60/V70R etc by disabling the Haldex system.

Hamish also mensioned organising and supply a BBQ with Wobbly dave as chef as I am told you have a certain talent to flipping burgers!

We need no deposits but I will need a list of definates approximately a week before the event.

Other than that if I can get a list together of names so I can organise with Hamish that would be awesome.

I fear this will be more of an hearty stew rather than BBQ weather? Looking forward to it immensely. Shall hope to bring the new Mrs Wobbly with me (not promising though)

I cant make the 30th i,m off to Belgium in my Saab 99 turbo
a few hundred Saabs meeting up for the weekend.
I colud have brought my C70 T5 or my V70R to see if it does what it says on the tin?????
