Angry another problem with a turbo..help...

i have a P reg 850 t5 fresh off ebay, the problem is the boost gauge doesn't go into the white and there is no hard acceleration.
I cut in the MBC from my other T5 and this didn't fix it, however i did notice the large rubber hose that goes from above the radiator into the manifold compresses all the way when i pull the accelerator cable.
is there a reason to this? it seems the turbo is working but the power is lacking.

boost is always a issue with these cars ! hoses perish, split or compress, change your old hoses and do a stage 0 ( check search bar ).

all hoses now changed, would have been cheaper to go the silicon route from ebay rather than oe ones from main dealer. Still no power tho? Its now booked into RT mechanics for a diagnostic session, let you know what the problem is next week......
