    V70R vs V70R AWD

In my Volvo related considerations I was wondering if the AWD version of the V70R was worth looking at over the FWD V70R. Some info I've seen recommends avoiding the early AWD models until the new shaped V70 as the system is too fragile and prone to uneven tire wear necessitating expensive rebooting. The 2WD version whilst hard on fronts is less hassle.

    Thoughts, ideas, comments.

I have a FWD R, 98 V70, i have the rica upgrade to 310bhp aswel, mines not hard on front tyres, the LSD helps as well as the traction control. There are known issues with the 4WD system, thats why i specifically wanted a FWD, thats not to say there are benefits for the 4WD though. Hobsons choice
