Its a shame the ffm got broken in the end as when smithness was selling it I simply didnt have the money or I would have snatched her up, more fun building your own from scratch though I think.

Definately agree on MBC front, the one I got off smithness has got me started but need a forge one I think, should also be buying smithness's hybrid 16t when he has sorted his K24 IIRC. I would love to avoid mapping but may end up in the end to get the most out of it.

Those AVC-R's are cool. different pre-sets depending on what you want to do...if I remember correctly as well you can set boost levels for different gears etc as well.

it is a very good bit of kit, only got 2 settings but yes you can alter boost levels per gear & lots more. It also measures injector duty which is a handly extra. I've done a bit more trick wiring so its got an adjustable overboost (like the T-5R) on WOT

Still think my excellent handling/hard suspension is my undoing on the strip. I wonder how old the suspension is on the likes of James' & Smithy's cars?

Wouldnt have thought so mate, if the car was rwd than yes soft supension at the rear can help shift weight to the powered wheels....on a fwd car you need to keep the rear from driving to try and keep weight over the front wheels for traction.
