    850 CD Changer removal

As the title says, how do I remove the multichanger out of the back of my 855?

Right - I have just done it. Takes about 5 minutes. You will need a T20 torx and 10mm spanner........

Just pull the outer casing up and the whole piece will come up (it is clipped down and lifts out over the multichanger unit).

There are 2 x 10mm bolts holding it on. One is obscured so will need to remove some of the surrounding torx screws and lift the plastic fascia away to expose the other - this is also obscured by a blue relay which pulls away exposing the hidden 10mm bolt.

Undo the 2 bolts, unclip the 2 wires to the unit and it's out.

Thanks for the info. Really useful. Can I ask what you're thinking of putting in the space. I wondered whether a little sub could fit in rather than taking up spare wheel space. Anyone done this?
