18" Nebulas rubbing. 225/40/18. Can I space them?

Really its not the rubbing, its the absolutely dire turning circle which annoys me!!

If I spaced the wheels, could I remove the stoppers?

Im sure the rubbing is actually minimal, I cant feel it, but you can see small marks on the liner.

    All help appreciated.

    Its a 98 C70 on a slight drop.

Mine is on 225's, lock stops and doesnt rub at all now had them fitted. To be honest before they were fitted the turning circlw wasnt too impressive.

I'd rather turn the wheel more, than buy tyres on a more frequent basis if you get me. Im glad about the lock stops finally being there

I just kept going - worn right through the liner & it makes no differnce.

Fit new lock stops if it concerns you.
