    sensor on exhaust where do i get one?

    hi where do i get a sensor for my 850 so i can get this lamda light off

    have you actually checked the codes to make sure it is the Lamba sensor, the light is simply saying the car isn't reaching required emmission levels. There are many other reasons why the light might be on, air leak, faulty part etc

    hi yes nightmare code it was checked on two garage machines which did not know what it was and volvo dealer had never seen it before but they were 99% sure it was sensor on exhaust cant remember what code was but will post the code before i buy one just incase you guys say different

    also i am not 100% sure it has the correct exhaust on it either just deos not look right

    Did the garage do an emissions test ?

    no they did not and the main dealer was only given the reading over the phone they did not have it on the ramp

    More than likely a vac leak - I think there are some 'elbowed' vac pipes on the 850 which are prone to going, sure someone on here can confirm.

    ah yes i did read about them on other posts are they in a haynes manual ? i only have an v70 manual is it the same as an 850

    I'm sure someone with specific 850 knowledge will post on it over the weekend. I seem ro recall having a similar issue on my Phase 1 V70 and I'm sure that was an elbow joint.

    Should be if it's non ME7. The one most often noted is under the left hand side of the inlet manifold (as you look at it)
