Are you sure you don't have a problem with the heater matrix or filters? Might be worth checking your front carpets for moisture?
Other than that, I'd defer to 850 owner members.

all carpets are nice and dry, the car is going in for a service next saturday
My Phase 2 had the tiniest of leaks from the heater matrix o-rings - that along with the pollen filter having been installed back to front resulted in badly misted windows. Have a good feel around the matrix and associated plumbing if you get chance - if there is a leak, I understand it's not a terribly big job on the 850.
Have you got air-con? If so, does that clear the mist?

will have a look around later yes i have air con i will see if it stops the misting on the way home from work
OK - if the a/c is struggling to demist then I'd certainly investigate the matrix/ plumbing and associated filters (assuming the a/c is in good nick, lol).
