    850r brake conversion

    I am thinking about a brake conversion for my 850r im doing a 302mm disks up front but was wondering what disks are on the rear and will 295mm disks fit

    I don't know what is on the rear however I have done a how 2 on this conversion on the forum.

    Don't forget you will need longer brake lines as well as bigger caliper carriers.

    Don't worry too much about the rear - as most of the braking is done up front. this is also useful...

    Hi will i need v70 brake lines as you said i will need longer lines and thanks

    Easier just to buy goodridge stainless steel ones. Main issue with the changing the flexible lines is they can get rusted up over time and be nasty to undo. Please use plenty of penetrating oil (oo err)

    For the 302's, I bought the ones in the link for a V70R, goodridge call them for the 16"+ wheels

    If you can stretch to them - the DS2500 are a great pad (I use them all round). DS2000 are also extremely effective as a fast road pad.

    HLM have both these and the brake lines. You may also wish to change your fluid to dot5 while you are doing this job as you will need to bleed the brakes anyway.

    already have the brake fluid only problem i have is the rear disks !! need to no if the 295mm disks will fit checked on others sits for the standard disk size (GSF) german swedish gave me a size which is 295x9.6x8.4mm so what you think then two brains are better than one HELP !!!!!

    yeah it was on ebay just seen what offers id get i've had it almost 2years
