Passenger seat wont tip over, Drivers is temperemental!

    Hey,

The passenger side seat, when you lift the lever on the side for it to tip, you can feel only the right handside is unlocking, the left hand side doesnt..?

    Also,

The drivers seat memory doesnt work, and yesterday some of the buttons stopped working, although they do again now.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks.

I fixed mine - was the cable that is in the back of the seat. It is fixable and you don't have to reupholster as the bottom of the seat breaks open to allow access.

Not got the hot tub yet. I was dancing in Inverness at a charidy ball.

Is it fairly straight forward to do? Also, is it a case of re-adjusting?

    Thanks

In mine 1 of the 2 cables had snapped. I found a cable and worked out how - by cutting a spare seat I had to bits.

I am sure you can get that cable from Volvo. You need to have a look inside the back of the seat first. That means releasing the fabric (attached each side on plastic hooks) and by a central flap which is folded in on itself.

After that you can see the integrity (or lack of) in the cable that is operated by the catch on the side of the seat.
