    Suspension questions

I read somewhere on the www that T5-Rs came with billies as standard...is this true or just another BS story regarding T5-Rs?

The ride is pretty firm, so I'm not keen to uprate the std shocks. Will probably go for Eibach springs with a 30mm drop, IPD drop-links and ARBs and polybush as much as possible.
Good plan or do something different? Budget will be around £6-700 max.

I can't afford KW coilovers so don't mention them 'k?!

Thats pretty much the same setup I have in my car currently. Still gives a pleasant comfy ride, and at the same time it handles really well on track too. So can highly recommend what you're looking at Jel.

But I'm going to be looking at getting some coilovers shortly :-) (whoops, sorry I mentioned that!)

T5-Rs sit 15mm lower than a standard T5. They are on uprated spring but i believe the shocks are tha same as a T5.

I would have though that dropping the ride height by 30mm on Eibachs would make the ride a lot harder and harsher then changing your shocks !
Old Car: 855 T5 in Grey and rust (dead and gone, well, most of it !
Missus' ride: Citroen C4 coupe 1.6 HDi,
    Modifications: Nowt.....yet !

Recent addition: Freshly imported Honda Stepwagon,
Slowly turning into a camper van !

Someone pointed these out a while back: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...=STRK:MEWAX:IT

Mind you, I have Bilstein B4 at the front and they are softer but give a kinder ride than the Volvo ones, and actually work well with the IPD ARBs which would otherwise make it stiffer than a March hare on Viagra. Only about £100 a pair from EuroCrapArts too.
    KISS Rs

850R manual, Rica 310, IKEA fitted bathroom, H&C running water, Jetex 2.5", pipe rack, cap stand, Forge BOV, circular wheels with full 360 degree rotation, 302mm discs, IPD front and rear anti-roll bars, numerous shiny features, sub-atomic particle accelerator, VTOL capability ...Volvo With Attitude!!!
Also to be seen in a gold Honda CR-V these days...

I was running Bilsteins with Eibachs a while ago but the ride was far too hard for the roads around here. I settled on using H&R's in the end, seem to work ok for me.
