Worth the money or not?

I am running IPD front and rear ARB. Have fitted new Volvo drop links - and these seem to work well. Ironically, the IPD ones are actually cheaper than Volvo ones - I just did not know when I bought them!
If you are not doing your front ARB I would not bother. The bars are the best thing I ever did on my R.
KISS Rs
850R manual, Rica 310, IKEA fitted bathroom, H&C running water, Jetex 2.5", pipe rack, cap stand, Forge BOV, circular wheels with full 360 degree rotation, 302mm discs, IPD front and rear anti-roll bars, numerous shiny features, sub-atomic particle accelerator, VTOL capability ...Volvo With Attitude!!!
Also to be seen in a gold Honda CR-V these days...
"It's really fast, and growls like a tiger!"
Wasn't gonna replace the ARB at moment. But drop links are needing done soon.
I had a set on my R, they're well worth the money, just make sure you get some dust boots for them otherwise they won't last long.

sure you don't mean the QBM ones (quite badly made) - TC
I have the HD ones - not sure they are worth it or not. It is really difficult to tell.

to be fair - they said that in the blurb - that they didn't need boots - how wrong they were.

Unless you have extremely uprated suspension, ie, coil overs etc for trackdays, i would'nt bother! more designer than practical!!!!
Total, no I mean TOTAL, waste of time and money getting THICKER drop links!!. Get better end joints by all means. Provided the joint is free the only load the link rod takes is axial - so they aren't going to bend unless you are running a race suspension ( and driving to suit!)
You will only add unsprung weight which is BAD for handling.
Make sure you get proepr ends with boots or whatever - OEM UK spec will do.
Changing your ARB's however will affect the handling enornously. For better of for worse depending on how well you think it out first and what you are trying to achieve.
Beware the jubjub bird my friend (for which read "marketing mans hype").
These thicker (not uprated, "thicker" and "heavier" ) ARB drop links have come up on here before and I pretty much posted the same response before.
I changed mine for GFS or PFV standard issue because mine were knocking. Much much better from noise and harshness perspective!! I drive hard, and they have not worn out in 3 years , 40k miles.
I changed dampers, bushes and springs for better handling. I did not make the mistake of confusing the two totaly different functions, I suggest you dont either.
For most purposes the cheapest OEM qulaity UK spect links will be your best bet.!
