Not criticizing at all but i dont like the shape. im unsure what u value it at but im sure you can pick up a cheap T5 to mod as modding that is kinda wasting money. Sorry its just my opinion.

If its a turbo then it can be modded quiet alot and it has the added advantage of been able to power down better being RWD.

I must admit I have never been a fan of older Volvos, in fact anything older than an 850 just doesnt do it for me. However, you have to go with what you have!, if you want to modify your car but can't afford to buy a T5 then why not?, I'd love an R but I cant afford one.

Well done mate good effort!, I love to see people tuning older cars.

i know i asked for opinions and mabe i should have included a clause saying 'nice ones only' or perhaps 'if you cant say anyhting nice, dont say anything at all'
for the sake of the fact that this forum attempts to build a community that is better than most i declined from being provoked by your first response.
However this second comment shows a needless disrespcetful disregard for someones personal circumstances ( i'd love an r but its not the same price as my alloys) and given this is an enthusiast website the fact that demeaning someones entire vehicle may cause offence.
I think many may suggest that 'modding' of any format on any car is pointless or a 'waste of money' proposing instead that the money be invested in a 'better' car.
furthermore i run the risk of turning this into a case of tit for tat, but many may call into question the sense and indeed legality of replicating to some extent a police car.
i think it is safe to presume that most members here have faced criticism over their passion in volvo's - barges, boxes, labradors and flat caps all spring to mind, but i also think most dont expect to face such here. rather they wish to indulge and share their interests.

Well it is a web site for T5's, hence why i'm here, like i said before it aint to my tastes, you can have T5 power im guessing within your budget, and as for particulars to my own vehicle i have pretty sound valid reasons, other than to contravene any laws. Good luck in your quest with the 940 if it's your chosen vehicle at this time. No animosity here!
