    If I buy a Garrett: http://cgi.ebay.co.u...=item1e5a54d10c

Should I order it with the K24 housing? I take it will then let me bolt it to my ported manifold without using an adaptor?

Slight change of plan, turns out my bores are worn to the tune of 11 thou that explains the oil burning, and my forged pistons are 0.5 oversized, so it would have needed a rebore anyway

Has anybody changed their main bearings? What a weird setup, it depends on what letter is stamped on the block and crank, then you refer to a table, it tells you what bearing to put in, you can end up with one thick and one medium bearing on the same jornal.

    Odd setup

Got the block back today Rebored 0.5 plus 4thou for clearance and all my gaskets turned up to, you really don't want to know the cost!

The block is being cleaned again, then painted.

Should have the bottom end rebuilt tomorrow, and collecting the head from the machine shop.

I really must get the pictures off the builder phone!

On the under piston oil squirters, there's a valve, looks like a small hydraulic tappit, which way around does it go? I can't remember!

The head is back on, bottom end is finished, just waiting for a few more gaskets, then on to the next piece of fun, the manifolds

    Just been reading this: http://volvospeed.com/vs_forum/index...page__hl__*na*

Apart from re-drilling a vacuum conection, it should work, and the N/A throttle bodies are 3" looking at it too, the tps sensor is in the same place, and for the connecting hose: http://snabb.3dcartstores.com/NA-Thr...SV70_p_37.html

It may be easier to make a new lower IC to TB pipe with IACV takeoff if your going RIP Paul. That way you can use just a 45 degree bend off the TB and they are much cheaper everywhere than one of those TB hoses with the IACV takeoff already in them.

Are the 2.0 and 2.5 throttle bodies the same size? I'm gonna get a complete manifold anyway, but can only find 2.0 ones.
