No updates yet, still waiting for the intercooler to have mk2 brackets welded on.

Has anybody tried fitting these on an estate, I'm not worried about them sticking up above the boot line.

    Wow, doesn't time fly!

Intercooler fitted, and many parts have been bought! Still no pictures lol

Once I get the d/pipe back, a big push is going to be made, aim is to have her running before the end of the year!

    Stay tuned!

Its getting there, nearly all the wiring is back in, plumbed up the engine, and the gas conversion

Just working out the RIP kit and the re-circ valve layout.

So, it could be time for a engine rebuild, so, who do people recommend? As I've already said, I want to fit uprated rods and cams (N/A ones possibly?) fit a pedro type breather system, and a bigger turbo (18 or 19) and better manifolds, plus, the correct mapping.

Anything I've forgotten, and who is best to talk to about these mods? I don't want a flame war, just some honest opinions.
You've got me a bit worried now. I've been advised to do the PCV on the 97' T5 that I'm buying next weekend, along with the cambelt and a service. I have to drive it back from Swindon to Great Harwood, so around 170 miles. If it's not already leaking oil, then I presume I should be able to get Home without causing any damage, if the PCV is blocked? What do you think please?

I'v had my 850 for nearly 3 years with over 200k miles on it, I'v fitted a supercharger and nitrous, but haven't done the PCV or cambelt yet.

I had the car a year before it started smoking, and, it wasn't that bad, would only do it after being left to idle for a few minutes.

I found my PCV wasn't blocked anyway, but I fitted a new one, which didn't clear the problem, on mine it was bore wear, and this started the whole rebuild!

You do know how to check to see if the PCV is blocked?

That's some reassurance thanks. You have no oil leak or anything? I think Volvo(Qady) whom has sold me the car is just advising me to have it done sooner rather than later, together with the other bits.

You've got a SC and nitrous- I presume that it's basically a rocket then!
