Tell me about it, all the brakes are on and working, speedo wiring works, just need mapping, and its ready to be driven!
To cheer myself up from the oil leak problem, I've done this
Orange switch is for the water injection
Got the dash to do next!
very nice keep up the good work any news on the engine regarding the builder etc
carbon wrapping's came out well, but you need Martin P's wheels to match with that blue interior
Thats the only trouble with my interior, too much blue!
I have some grey and black bucket seats to go in
My Dad had a Nissan Stanza, white with a red interior, always reminded me of driving around in a used lady product!
Small update, got the front end back together, need to paint the headlight trims, and put mesh behind the bonnet grill and bumper to help protect the intercooler.
Please excuse the volvo doing its Noo-Noo impressions!
And also a big thanks to Claymore for helping to get the tickover down from 2,000rpm to about 900
I remembered why it wouldn't tick over as smooth as it did before the rebuild, its got high lift cams in it now!

I'm looking forward to seeing this up and running. Good luck sorting the leak, feels like it's never ending sometimes doesn't it. My car gets me on the verge of selling it half the time. Will be worth it in the end though!!
Grey 855R Manual. Totally standard.
Todays progress is one we have been putting off for ages, fitting the aero catches in the bonnet!
Got a mate in to do it, I'm not brave enough!
Also did abit more CF wrapping and fitted the Momo steering wheel
Bar cleaning, the engine bay is finished
Its out enjoying the sunshine!
Really needs a wash now!
Thats brilliant paul its really looking well now
Looking good mate, you may want to trim your induction intake thou, as I may slow you down sucking up the gravel on the road !!!
Thanks Pete, its taken a while, hopefully worth it wait, back bumper has been painted since the photos were taken.
I know, its a bit long! will be done before long
Its had its first spin up the yard too, alreadys shows a liking for spinning her wheels!
Paul asked me to pop up to his unit to plug my laptop into the ecu, I got there and started the car up, the car ticked over fine so I took it up and down the yard a couple of times, all seemed fine so Paul jumped in and we took it for a couple of mile blast, Waw what can I say, the car drives perfectly, no bangs or cloncks from the suspension, the engine feels very strong although I only took it to 3k rpm, this car is going to be awsome.
