    Smile Injector Cleaning

Dear all I have just had my injectors cleaned by Jim off VOC forum. What excellent customer service! Posted yestereday to him special delivery. He has cleaned them including the two pictures and a real time video of them in action showing that they are now spot on. He has then got them back to me posted special delivery including tracking to arrive tomorrow.

    A good comprehensive report to.

Out of interest, what mileage have your injectors done and what kind of fuel do you typically run?

I'll be interested to hear how much smoother the car runs with the clean injectors installed, too.

    Red face

    Gentlemen,

just replaced the injectors and very smooth tick over. The cost was £50 including replacing the ten rubber O rings. Fast turnover re getting them back to me.

Someone asked about why service every 6K? It is only a full oil and filter every 6K as remapped.

Really pleased with the way she runs now. If you look at the previous pictures from the report now that all spray correctly it must give smoother performance. Still waiting for my wheels to be delivered. Where is Mr UPS?

    Chris

Jim did mine at ~90k and the car was noticeably better, particularly at lower rpm where there was a little more urge and grunt. Well worth it. My Saab ones will going shortly...

There's nothing to stop you running some polyetheramine based fuel system cleaner through a tank anyway but it won't give the same results as a proper clean as per Jmthan.

I ran some Redline Si-1 through a few tanks back and am still seeing a small fuel mileage improvement.
