Sadly missed for a couple of years - however it is back!!

Ellen & I are getting married in October - so this is an excuse for a big blow-out.

We are inviting everyone over to our house in Shropshire.
This is a themed event (optional). The theme is the good, the bad & the ugly! Feel free to interpret the brief as you see fit.(not necessarily a Wester/Clint Eastwood thing)

We'll be running it from 2pm onwards - so those with famiilies that can't stay will be able to drop by and stay for a couple of hours at least. We kindly ask that dogs be left behind.

As in previous years - all food and drink is provided. All we ask is for a voluntary contribution of five pounds. I stress that it is voluntary.

I am looking forward to seeing some nicely turned out Volvos, but this is primarily as social event - so don't feel like you need to bring your car - car sharing is encouraged. There is however plenty of parking space further down the lane.

Anyone wishing to camp in the back garden is free to do so. There is plenty of room.

RSVP - by 12th July at the latest - as we need to budget for the food.

I was waiting to see when the date was after you mentioned it the other day when i was down - but out of all those weeks, thats the one week i am away in July

in Scotland from 17th to 25th.

Flights from Glasgow to Birmingham are cheap (Telford is but an hour on the train) - or perhaps if a bunch of you - including JaseB, Bubba, YellowT5R, Volvokid & fraz (if you can find him) - could car share?

I am hoping that Bubba will be coming again - I did promise to detail his C70 for him.

I know from previous Wobbly - BBQ people have come from far & wide.

Still looking at money situtaion, as really want to get car mapped and would feel like wasted journey.

Would be great to meet up again, bbq in 06 was great, drive down was good aswell.

Hey dave a car share plan could be good, save a fortune on fuel. If it doesn't work out we will gate crash the wedding up in ness. My money is a bit tied up at the moment if it isn't a car that needs it, I have a few nites out over the next couple of months and a abroad stagger to find funds for. Cant wait till the tail end of this year when my money will be mine again.

Anyone up for a car share???????
