And this is why you should never trust your life to electronics. A foot on the brake is better that a computer that decides to give up, just when you need it to work.
“If people let the government decide what foods they eat and what medicines they take, their bodies will soon be in as sorry a state as the souls who live under tyranny.” Thomas Jefferson (1778)

Did you know the EU says that you can't claim that drinking water prevents dehydration. So now you know for sure what many of have known for years that the EU is run by a bunch of nutters.

Volvo blamed the incident on a combination of 'human error'

Thats funny, same thing happened to Merc when they showed off there radar system for cruise control, someone forgot to turn the system on an the result was 2 smashed up mercs in front of a load of giggling journo's !

All these safety features are taking the skill out of driving and leaving us with an increasing number of muppets on the road. In the old days people drove better cos if you drove badly and had an accident it either really hurt.. or killed you. Now you can have a huge smash and walk away.... we should reintroduce natural selection to driving :-)
