Talking Piccys Of Custom Stainless Exhaust Being Fitted Today..!!!

Well I had the Full System fitted today. they took the turbo housing off to remove the standard down pipe. then fitted a 3 inch down pipe. compact flexy pipe then fitted a 200 Hole Compact Race Cat Which Is The Same One They Fit To The Merc AMG's. Then Fitted The Rest Of The Straight Through Pipe with 2 High Flow Boxs and an Oval Chrome Tail Pipe. Sounds Really Nice. not as loud as my S70R was but still a nice sound. I can always have a 3rd Box fitted in a few weeks once its bedded in if I feel its a tad too loud but so far its just right. anyhow. took 6 hours from start to finish and here are the piccys of the event.

OMG with the 3 inch pipe the turbo spins up so fast there is no lag at all from the millisecond I press the Accelorator Pedal Down. turbo spins up immediately. so much quicker its unreal. the wheels want to spin now if I accelerate too hard through 1st and 2nd so will haveto get used to it and feather the pedal to keep it steady...

    The Cat.

Flexy put together with one of the Cat Sensors Fitted In.

Turbo Housing with Flexy And Cat Connected ready to re fit.

All Fitted Back To The Turbo.

Front End All Fitted just The Rear pipe and Boxs Plus Tail Pipe then It was off for a blast.....All Credit To My Mates Simon and Eldin For The Work Done...

Exhaust parts look good, but why oh why do people MIG stainless steel? i just cannot get my head around it, TIG is a lot neater and stops your exhaust from rotting,

The title of this thread is a lie!

Not one of the pictures actually shows the exhaust being fitted

At that end of the system - surely it will be too hot for any rust to form? It is well established that even on non stainless systesm the only thing that ever went on a routine basis was the hangers?

Stormy - looks the ££££££ mate. Hope you enjoy waking the other trolls in yours neighbourhood.

Well due to a chemical reaction from being Migged it will rust in that area, it's a shame that a nice shiney system will become Orange, but the future is bright as they say, lol,

All steel rusts in the end its usually the result of being in contact with cheap fastners/fixings

troll they make all the fastners and fixings as well as the exhaust. all the lil metal rods that come off to go through the rubbers to hold it to the car are all made from stainless too so they wont rust.... the guys love doing this stuff. its more of a pasion than a job so they like to put 100% into it...
