    Unhappy outch iv think i have hurt her

    ok i was showing a kit car who is the daddy the other day then i herd a rattle like nails in a can and now oil comes out of the gearbox but its engine oil and iv vibrates more the more the engine reve, any ideas?

    When you say oil comes out the gearbox, do you mean the bottom of the bellhousing where the gearbox mates to the engine?

    Is the clutch ok? any problems getting into gear? Any problems starting the engine?

    clutch is ok nope it goes in gears fine and starts on the button

    Does the vibration happen when in driving in gear, or just revving when stationary? Did the car have an oil leak before this happened? How bad is the oil leak?

    it happens all the time u notise it more when still as there is no road vibrations
    there was a little oil leak from the turbo oil pip but this is bad, it trickles out like a tap running slowly out of the bottom of the box there is a little hole there dunno if its ment to b tho

    Spigot bearing failure leading to rear main failure leading to oil in bell housing ?

    Nothing worse than finding oil dribbling from your bell-housing I always think.

    Suggest you may have popped your rear main seal as consequence of crankcase over pressure as result of rampant thrashing with a blocked PCV?

    the pvc wasnt blocked it was just drove how is was ment to b with 232k on the clock so i done the main end bearing
    im gonna miss the look on ppls faces when they cant keep up or i go passed them poor man in his new kit car got a shock lol

    i aint got a clue but its done 232k so it seems like it was just its time i prob didnt help it by driving it as hard as it can it goes to 6k a few times a day
