    as i've said before it was really good to finally meet up with you Jerry, & glad you took all the insults over the years in the humour they were intended or i'd of got a slappin lol.

    finally got yourself a T-5R front bumper nice one, so what else do you need now to make it an exact replica lol

    you think its going to be much quicker on the strip now?

    Just a quick update to this thread, despite sinking 10k into this car over the last 18 months it has died today, halfway to Luxembourg.
    Looks like head gasket failure. I really can't be bothered with the thing any more, so once it's back home again I will be breaking it and selling parts to fund a car that actually works and is reliable.

    oh dear. sorry to hear it!!! Very premature gasket failure given all the work thats been done.

    I know mate, I'm totally gutted.
    I've not driven it hard at all either, been very careful (as instructed) to keep the revs down and check the fluid levels.
    What can I say other than cheerio Volvo!

    damn, sorry to hear its backed up again & that your giving up on it, but its understandable considering the issues you've had. Does that mean your going over to some german Merc 5hit?

    really sorry to hear that mate....a beauty it looks too.....shame though your breaking it, i almost was at a point of selling mine but i hadnt even started on it, let alone spend all the money and effort you clearly have spent on it......
