I heard Falken FK-452's were good from some people, other people said the traction wasn't quite there - not really sure if you'd notice much of a difference with another brand once they're worn.

Vredstein Ultracs were good for handling the power on mine (and those were 205's)

Just got Ultrac Sessenta 2's 225/45 R18 - they have tons of grip wet or dry (can just about get silly in 2nd in the wet, 3rd is fine.)

You got a strut brace on? that mod improved my traction heaps, and made the wheel spin much more manegable (and less 'trampy') maybe that will be an easy mod that will up the traction a bit?

BSR stage 3, BSR Stainless Exhaust, Vibratechnics gearbox Mount, OZ 17" Superturismo Alloys, Bell FMIC, LED Side lights, LED interior Lights, Tinted Windows, Eibach Sports Springs, K&N Air Intake, 3" Sports Cat and Downpipe, Debadged, EST Strut Brace, EST Grille, Black Moose Stickers, Bilstein B8 Dampers, Fully Polybushed, CC3 all round, CF Wingmirrors

He he... 18's... you know you want to

I would have thought 18's wont make a difference to the rub really, just more wheel and less tyre assuming they're the same width? 225 are already pretty wide...

Mine feels loads different with 18's compared to 17's, it's much 'meatier' and tugs loads more on cambers etc.... if you want something delicate and balanced - 17's are the way to go :p
