Talking My S60 T5: Rolling Road Video Then Tuned Today At HLM...

Went to HLM today and had Ferodo Racing Performance Brakes fitted. then a few other things then ended up with a Rolling Road then had the Beast Tuned then Rolling Roaded again after. all I can say is Wow.... started off with Standard T5 250Bhp. and ended up after tune with 270Bhp with an increase of almost 100 Max Torque after the tune from 296.16 increased to 374.05 and OMG. its a Frikkin Animal. The Take off and Acceleration now is double the Torque that it was before the tune, It wheel Spins even in 3rd AND 4th gear... gonna have to get used to that or get through loads of Tyres... Totally happy with the outcome. had a great day and lookin forward to my next trip up when I might take it a step further with Hybrid Turbo etc etc.. anyhow Few Piccys below of the day, Plus The Rolling Road Video and the Printout of the before and after Dyno Chart...

yes before was totally stock although Hamish said it is a very good engine as at stock it was already coming back with a reading of 257Bhp instead of the 250 standard. so was just a naturally good block...

Have decided to not go any further with tuning my car.. Im happy as it is now as it will cost too much to go further with turbos and more tuning etc etc. so I have decided to put my money into doing my CBT and getting a bike instead.. cheaper on the petrol and less time sat stationary in traffic jams .lol.....Project Bike Begins...

I'm used to the torque steer don't notice now it keeps your guns in good working order!

    maybe that's a slogan 'T5 drivers have bigger guns... it's the torque-steer!'

Get a custom straight through stainless steel if you get the chance, will sound proper good

I got the BSR stainless steel one - was a bit quiet so got the middle muffler welded out.

Zorst next for sure. Nice set of results - just wondering about what units were on the torque - NM or Ft/lbs?

I think the graph says N-m ... it would give a peak of about 270lbs ft at the wheels, which sounds about right?

That thing has a very flat power curve, producing pretty much the same power from 4000-6000, it's obviously begging for a bigger FMIC and Sports downpipe + Cat to free up the breathing over 4000

you getting spin in 3rd in the dry?

Sounds like dodgy tyres maybe? What brand do you have on? Mines churning out about the same and is fine in 2nd/3rd in the dry (no trick diff)

Brand New Tires all Round mate.. only 2 months old. just a more ferocious Ride now... loads Torque Steer unless I feather the throttle. and if I accelerate hard in each gear it will spin into 2nd and 3rd...I use the 225/45ZR17 Falkern FK452s
