Question vac & boost pipe help please....

Just a quickie really, what is the correct diameter of pipe work for all the vacuum pipes/boost pipe etc is it 5mm id?

I'm tempted to replace all mine. Some look quite new - should they be clamped / tie wrapped? The newer ones appear to have no clips or clamps, is this ok? (I'm talking pipes from the Boost Control Solenoid back to the turbo / airbox and so on)

Finally does anyone have a diagram of all the various vac pipe locations just incase I miss some?

    Cheers

    Mark

you need some 4,5 & 6mm for the pipes. I always use jubilee clips to secure them. Internally braided fuel line is best as well to use instead of normal rubber or silicone, its alot strong & doesn't expand as easy
