V70 T5 SE 1998 Speedo checked vs GPS

    Dear All,
Today I checked my Speedo on my 1998 V70 T5 SE against a Garmin GPS III and it was surprisingly accurate. Up to 40 mph it over-reads by 1 mph. From 40 to 60 it over reads by 1.5mph and 70 upwards by no more than 2mph.

Following an earlier test I repeated 2 x 0 to 60 runs and got times of 7.8 and 7.9 secs @ the 62 mph marker on the speedo. Not uber scientific or controlled I know but how does this sound for pre-stage 0, pre remap V70 T5 SE auto? Fuelled with standard unleaded, 1x 14st adult on board on dy roads?

I was surprised as to how accurate it was!!

    Cheers

    Jim

0-60 sounds quite decent - traction is always tricky for quick starts.
