850t5 auto tranny help pls.

Hello to all and congrats on a great site its been alot of help already as this is my first t5 and having had bikes for most of my life there are some things that are a bit strange.ive owned the car for a month now sorted the boost problem which from all your great posts tracked it down to the bcs now a new problem it sticks in 3rd sometimes 2nd and 3rd sometimes 2nd 3rd and 4th the gear problem light is not on and its intermittent ive read it could be the gear position sensor but that's where i need your help pls.

this may be worth a try but with ingition off move the auto gearstick through all motion 20/30 times to make sure the contacts are clean. Also what sort of condition is the aft in? could be worth flushing and changing it esp if it hasnt been done so before

No i haven't even bothered doing that yet would that make such a problem?.

yeah...auto box is dependant on fluid so it needs to be right

dont forget to check it with the engine running....

I have been doing that with the gear stick and if its stuck in 3rd it will use 2nd and 3rd.what atf fluid do they use? and i will flush and refill anyway.
