    Comet re-furb

    Just had my comets back from the re-furb company.

    Its nice to see the rears of the alloy powder coated as well.

    Looks nice, I'd be a bit concerned about the coating on the mating face though, might mean it wont sit flat.

    They were done at My alloys basingstoke...Its a re-furb company that do nothing but alloys.
    The weights are flashed before they are put onto the wheel.

    As Tomcat said, it might be a prob with the painted mating face.. I will observe when i get round to fitting them.

    just got mine done the same colour at city powder coaters in brum. they dip them shot blast, sand , powder coat then lacquer for £20 a wheel up to 20", they are perfect apart from a bit on 1 wheel about the size of a 10p but they said that was where the wheel had corroded

    very nice mate. same colour I had mine done on my Previous R. I was lucky. mine mated up on the plate ok. hope urs go on smooth too..

    Thanx...Should be ok as the mating face was flat before painting.
