    Wheel Repairs ?? ..

I took my C70 into Kwik Fit to get a slight wheel imbalance seen to but was informed by the guy that at least 2 of my 17" Canisto's are very slightly buckled !! ..

I dont want to upgrade the wheels as im happy enough with the looks and comfort of the Canisto's ..

Can these be repaired easily enough by a wheel specialist or are they bin material ? ...

    Thanks

I have two buckled wheels on my 850. I have contacted loads of companies and they say you cannot repair buckles as the wheels will be weak and cannot be 100 percent reliable. Anyone who does it is not using a know method. You will alter the heat treatment of the wheel if you weld repair it. I would find some replacement wheels as i think repairing is a bad idea. I am an engineer so it makes sense to me that you cant just weld the wheel up and it will be ok. I am looking for 2 new wheels myself because of this problem.

    Cheers
