mega turbo lag?

hi all,
had timing belt done last week and since car feels like it takes longer for the turbo to boost up as it goes well past 3000rpm and doesnt feel like its starting to pull.

i know being out of time will affect it but does this sound like its a way out coz i hope those pistons arn't getting too friendly with my valves!

seems to take off at around 4000-4500rpm i could swear it was way sooner before!

any ideas appreciated

Valve timing almost certainly

Get it checked and reset ASAP!

I had this (similar) problem with my V70 T5.

Problem turned out to be a duff MAF.

I un-plugged the MAF & the car went like a scolded cat.

New Maf sourced, problem solved.

Edit : Above may apply if the timing turns out to be correct.

yeah checked timing myself today( only got belt done by garage as it was over due and was working all week so needed urgent!) and its bang on so ill see how it goes and do more checks if necessary
