I put a low milage engine in and the 16t is ported/polished, might have something to do with it.

You won't get anymore out of a kkk than your 18t mate they are both good turbo's it's what your engine has to give, anyone can bolt bigger turbos on but if your engine is worn and tired the n/m figures will be lower and its torque that makes your car pull not the bhp figures.

Looking forward to York, you there for a beer sat night?

thanks for the offer i will let you know, hoping to get out to shows/drag strips etc as much as possible this year.
it all depends on the results of my dreaded MOT tomorrow, it's only the emissions i'm worried about, lack of cat and it's running quite rich, stinks of fuel now when you're stood behind it.

well, i bought a set of blues to take with me when i got it mapped, but hamish said they weren't needed so still using oranges.
as for other mods, just a turbo back 2.5" sysrem with no cat and an induction kit that's about it engine wise. * forgot i fitted an me7 manifold

well, i've just got back from the test centre and it failed with a capital F.
    o/s bottom arm
o/s arb (parts in the boot to be fitted tomorrow)
    n/s arb
handbrake needs adjusting, as does n/s headlight aim. and the c02 emissions are a tad high, not much can do about that really without finding a standard exhaust with a cat to bolt on till test's passed.
