Pre volvo lunch 23/9/2005

I think we have hijacked the list thread enough so here is a new one for the lunch time meet.After a bit of discussion we have decided(Moppy and me)to meet up for a spot of lunch before hand and then have a mini convoy to volvo the venue for lunch can be found here

Gibbo has very kindly posted an alternative route to get there to avoid the road works which is also here

From brum to Weedon you would normally go M6 / M1 off @ j18 straight down the A5 thru DIRFT but on the A5 between DIRFT & WEEDON there are 6 or 7 different sets of roadworks resulting in every set using filter lanes & temp traffic lights controlled by some knob jockey labourer (no disrespect to any labourers intended(only the ones on the A5))
So i would carry on the M1 till J16 turn right thru Flore, down the hill & the Crossroads is on your left just before the lights.

I'd got it all worked out - lutterworth to the A5 then straight there via the A5 then some bugger comes along and puts road works in just to foil me - damn it!
