    3" inlet to turbo,

Well i thought about replacing what i thought was the weakest link in my air inlet side after having the RIP kit fitted and the bigger IC, I have been wanting to get rid of that concertina pipe for awhile now, I had a couple of spare 3" maf housings laying around so myself and Alan got to work on it,
I am not sure if the car will have a fit now, as the 4 wire mafs and meant to work in a smaller enviroment compared to the 5 wires, but we will see,
Some people use a tight 90 degree bend to the turbo i thought this to be too tight so went for a 2 45 degree bends that was cut and welded to a not so tight 90 degree angle,

    anyway here are the pics,

    looks nice & shiny mate

BT doesn't like her 3" MAF very much, with a fresh ECU it takes a few cranks for the adaptive parameters to be able to keep the engine running

i notice you've used the self-sealed T connectors for the manifold feed breather, i fed mine to the vac tree instead

I kept it the same size as the IC Pedro 57mm>63mm, As i didn't want to go from 57>76>63, so thought i would keep it all the same size, saves any troubles,
The car didn't like the new set up on start up, what with it being cold as well, i fitted a spare MAF i had so i suppose it had to settle it self again, I am going to take her out for a run tomorrow now, no leaks or any smells to report as of yet lol,
The exhaust is loud on my car but i can't wait to hear the induction roar

    Gary.

PS Not much more i want to do to the old girl now, Just fit my ported S60R exh manifold and port and rebuild my 19t in the summer then enjoy..

It had to be migged as i went abit awol with the grinder lol, otherwise it would've been tigged and a lot more pleasing to the eye, a friend of a friend did it, it was meant to be part of my exhaust system but this was spare at the end of the exhaust job, so thought use it towards the inlet pipes,
Yes Alan, taps were excellent mate, thanks again,
