hey guys, all i wanna do is simple, a cheap enough set of coilovers (second hand preferably), a vented bonnet, boost gauge, drivers side bucket seat, roof rack, FMIC, exhaust system (second hand again) and hopefully some banded steel rimmage................all in all i would rather buy it all second hand apart from the boost gauge

I'll try to help out here...

Coilovers don't seem to come cheap for our cars - at least, I didn't find a decent set at cheap money. Gaz make them at £750ish, there are probably others.

Vented bonnet. No need on our cars but if it's for the looks you'll have to go custom. There's a guy in Sweden who makes S40 bonnets out of fibreglass but expensive with shipping etc.

Boost gauge... easy.

Seats. Buy some second hand buckets and then you'll need to find a way to fit them. If you are looking I have some S40 seat runners made up to accept Sparcos (or any other kind of buckets that fit) that I'm getting rid of. For God's sake don't fit harnesses unless you do it properly - which will mean taking out the back seats to get the right angle on them.

FMIC. Again not really a restriction until you get to big power, but you can then either hack a generic one in, or pay a grand plus for a custom one (like I did... ouch!)

Exhaust - there are a few on the forum again second hand, so you should be able to sort that easy.

Alloys are always coming up for sale.
